Preschool Curriculum
Our Busy Bees curriculum is a celebration of the world and everything in it. We value discovery as one of the great joys of childhood and know that preschoolers will delight in learning - through books, art, music, experimentation, exploration, and play.
In addition to seasonal themes and general learning, reading, math, and fine motor skills will be strengthened daily. Children will learn letters through playful practice. They will gain confidence with numbers, counting, patterns, and sequencing. They will write and cut and sort and stack and learn that learning is fun!
The final and most important piece of our curriculum centers on interpersonal ideals. At Miss Lori’s Beehive, children will socialize in an environment where values are emphasized and discussed daily. Kindness, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation are a prioritized part of our preschool curriculum, and daily interaction with peers and teachers will provide ample opportunities to learn and practice these positive social skills.
